Agreed, there is a substantial lack of tapirs. Not even one in the faq or smilies...

The good news is that there is an in-house tapir (http://community.enemyterritory.com/forums/member.php?u=1) on the forums.

If you ever get a chance to go to the San Diego Zoo you can see
tapirs in person. I would advise not getting too close though. I was
