Will the importation of native 3D Studio Max Files be possible with the editor?

As I have found that modeling and texturing is much easier in 3D Studio Max for me then any program. I'd like to create a couple of Sir. Community signs, buildings, etc. and import them into a level for ETQW. If not what would I need to export the models to for them to be compatible with the SDK?

yes it is possible.*.max? I'd be surprised by that as there aren't many 3D apps that can do that. GG if you can though.

Not .max scene files. But you can export .OBJ or .ASE from Max and import it straight into the world editor.

There is also a FANTASTIC maxscript that you will be interested in for importing and exporting md5 meshes....essential if you want to do any animated models you will need to export them as md5's with proper md5anims.
