View Full Version : How do you get automatic mines?

I was in salvage last night playing as strogg. The gdf engineers were dropping mines all over the place and not arming them. The mines were arming themselves a few seconds later. Usually after the engineer in question was dead as they were using a kamikaze tactic to spread mines throughout attacking forces. Is this a reward that i have yet to find? Is there a special drop command that allows this? I want automatic mines too.

It is a lvl4 reward for engineer, and i think constructor gets it too.

looking forward to utilising this once lvl4 is a little easier to get.

It's easy to get even before the patch if you play eng/contructor all 3 maps on a defense campaign (North Europe for GDF, Africa for Strogg). I've had L4 Eng as early as 5 min into the second map, and almost always by mid 3rd game as GDF on North Europe.
