Just wondering if anyone has heard if ET:QW will have a G15 LCD support

I second that question. Would be awesome if it did. that LCD could display so much cool stuff in a game like this. I'm very interested to know if it will support it.
Hopefully even if there isn't any out of the box support, maybe a patch or mod maker could add some.

yeah good question, i was wondering the same thing
Just curious... how much do you guys actually look at the LCD during a game? It looks nice, but I just don't know if I'd have the time to look at a little display on my keyboard while playing ;)

I look at mine a lot when playing, just to see who's talking on Vent.

Same, I use Ventrilo, or SirRealLCD on the LCD screen.

Well, if the LCD is implemented well, i.e. providing useful information, then I would look at it a lot more. Most games don't use it much, so most people don't look at it much. But throw some cool info on there, like a checklist of objectives for your class, the names and locations of teammates needing revives and/or ammo, a readout of major events happening, or hell, even just moving your fireteam chart into the LCD and off the main screen would be awesome.
I could go on and on, but I think I've made my point. If utilized properly the LCD could be an awesome tool to have, and there is literally a TON of cool stuff you could do with it.

i agree....100% i like these ideas...however i think most people would whine about how its unfair to them because they dont have the same keyboard......sad but true

Yeah, I know what you mean. None of the ideas I suggested would unbalance gameplay, since all of it is info you have accessible anyways, it's just relocated, but I guess some people just like to complain about everything. :(

I believe I read somewhere that they were looking into it. I'd be surprised if it wasn't in the final game.

Great, now i have to buy another keyboard... again!
:p
I can't really see the use for it myself, but good for those who want it and would use it. It really seems like a cliche thing though.

Kick butt malarky. Thanks for letting us know. Gotta say the G15 has been the single best keyboard to date that I have owned. Heck I got two of em lol. Thanks again for the info.

I know this was probably brought up somewhere else, but are the keystrokes for ETQW generally the same as ET??

It is supported, but all it does is show the bar charts for each experience level you are attaining (battlesense, vehicle, weapons etc) Cool... but not "critical".
I will swap to it on occasion to see how much more grenading I need to do to unlock my grenade launcher! But mostly I leave it on the FRAPS fps display.
Or I swap to performance to see if my CPU is being taxed once performance in game drops on occasion.
I would like to see my score in it, or all ammo amounts. But for now it just lets you know how close to which level in which skill you are. :)
