Is it just me, or does the Achievement for the 2000 Shotgun/Nailgun XP only count if using a Nailgun?
I use the Shotgun when on GDF (Pre and Post 1.2 :cool: ) and I seem to only gain XP when on Strogg and using the Nailgun. I'm wondering if I'm missing something here ??

You get Shotgun/Nailgun XP for using either one. This much, I know for certain. Because well, the shotgun XP I received went right to my stats.

I already got my small arms star (pre 1.2 which was a pain because shotgun/nailgun were simply weak) and i got most of the XP with shotgun.

same with the nailgun - i've foundthem equal with xp gain.

Is it just me or do the light weapons achievements seem backwards? 200 XP with AR/Lac but you need 2,000 with shotgun? Seems like it should be the other way around. The AR is general purpose, while the shotgun is for certain occasions and should reflect that (just as knives and blasters reflect that).
Anyway, I hardly use the nailgun and have XP on that one, so I think it must be working correctly.

I would rather say - Shotgun/Nailgun exp is one 0 too much. Every other weapon is 200 exp. There is only ONE person that has got over 2k shotgun/nailgun exp... That's not normal.
It was a retarded decision. Oh well.

If I played on ranked servers, I would have 10k XP with Shotgun/Nailgun ;)

With the buff to the shotgun/nailgun, it's easy to get 2000 XP. I have 700XP already using it for only a week.

babyj you have 75 xp with the nailgun and 199 xp wit the shotgun. think your a tad confused.
