How helpful is leaning, really? How often do you lean to shoot? When do you do it? Inquiring minds want to know! :oppressor:

Fairly rarely, usually only when I'm defending and in cover, or if I'm attacking into a significant amount of firepower. It's not really overall very useful in a game where you can bunnyhop around at 50kph. :P

100% of the time i shoot from cover i lean. makes you a much smaller target.
No radar, a quick lean to look is essential before you leap out into an APT or 20 enemy soldiers.
Lean and wait for an enemy to appear, withdraw and prime a nade and its an easy kill.
Learn to lean and you become more effective (and a better dancer:confused: )

All the time, anything that lowers your profile makes you harder to hit. So of course it's helpful.

I have the leans bound to the shoulder buttons of my mouse and do it quite regularly when defending an objective/plant/people hacking/repairing/SPAWN CAMPING :D
I lean whenever I see it fit in the situation (pretty rarely).
the lean seems very screwy in this game...even binded with the old etqw style of lean, it really doesn't work right....definitely screwed this one up for sure.
however, its a necessary function.

I would ike to use it, but I need to reconfig my keyboard/mouse bindings. I'm a complete illiterate when it come to that. I have been given some great advice - just need to take the plunge with it.
Leaning, when it has worked for me, is fairly effective indoors, or behind cover.

I find that it is very useful when on defense. When you know the direction the enemy is coming, you can wait for a short bit and then lean out and take out loads of troops. Usually I can stay leaned out and they dont normally notice the profile of a player since you are so close to terrain.

Every time there's cover and time to set my shot up, i lean. Being able to turn cover on and off with a buttonpress = useful.

I don't like going prone because i find it very annoying to be taken out by badly timed grenades, so i usually crouch and lean when i'm camping somewhere.
every where i lean, more when im strogg because lacerators fire rate.
It is also really hard to hit a person leaning, the hit boxes are a bit screwed

I did a rebind on the keys and made the Q key my decoys and the E key entering vehicles from BF2. So no, I rarely find the time to lean on anything, though I do think if used properly it could be quite useful.

I lean when I play RL soldiers vs turrets, defending in-doors, sniping in open spaces. It's useful since, as stated previously, anything that makes you a smaller target is a Good Thing<tm>.
Crouching and leaning at the end of a hallway makes you very lethal. Steady aim at the incoming heads plus a tiny target. Yay.

I lean for sniping, using Obliberator, calling an Artillery, looking for enemy covert ops or to throw a grenade. Pretty handy thing and I use it much more often than in W:ET.

I pretty much do it everytime I'm stationary. Find some good cover, crouch then lean just so that you can see over the cover.

Leaning is very useful. Attacking or defending I always use it.

I only lean when I want to shoot someone when I am behind cover and expect to get fire back and sometimes it is VERY useful to take out an APT because they won't shoot at you if you lean from behind a corner, even if you shoot at them...

I lean a lot. It really helps. I just wish I could toggle crouch so right leaning wasn't so damn hard. When I right lean I have to use my index finger to hold down crouch and extend my middle finger up to button "E". This feels very awkward and only leaves your ring finger for asdw movement.

Leaning is one of the best atributes to kill enemys.... lean, shoot, cover.....(repeat)

Wow! Sounds like I need to learn how to lean effectively, then!
I currently have the problem of being shot to shit by anyone I run across. I see the enemy, I try to aim at them, I fire, and for some reason they hit me sooner, resulting in a hasty death. :O

I lean even in the middle of open-spaced firefights, although it's a situational thing. It has saved my butt a few times, since I seem to focus more on my accuracy when I do, and usually plug the last headshot I need to take down my opponent.
I do peer around corners quite a bit on both offense and defense. I find it essential in both roles.

Tons of great leaning action there, especially by Bjorn as he's attacking.

I'm so used to playing WoW that i keep hitting the lean buttons to strafe by mistake >.<
I'm getting better at it though.
