Am very new to ET-QW. How do you get promoted through the ranks. Am playing on ranked servers and have over 1000xp. Prob a really stupid question but have been told many different answers.

Promotions are based on XP + Awards.
Each award is made up of 2+ tasks, lets take soldier for example :
Soldier Basic:
* XXX OF 600 XP EARNED AS SOLDIER OR AGGRESSOR
* X OF 2 OBJECTIVES COMPLETED BY DESTRUCTION
If you get 600 xp in Soldier you will get a promotion, but to get the medal you will need to do both.
