and your vehicle gets damaged, don't hang around it. The flames on the vehicle make a nice beacon to use as an aiming point and you might get caught in the vehicle explosion.

This happened today on Quarry. A strogg had a nice little spot up behind the GDF spawn on Quarry where it was hard to see him ... except for that nice little blazing Icarus, which he so considerately plopped himself down next to.

I'll always aim for a guys icarus first if he's on a roof and out of it. Not only does it take away his escape, but many times it kills the guy too.

Indeed, no point in being stealthy if you park in plain view.

If you aren't expecting to need a vehicle again, you should park it more than 10 meters away. If you want to keep it from decaying/respawing, stay closer than that.

Even better is when the person gets to a high place with the icarus and leaves it in plain site. I love to shoot the icarus and then the enemy a little. Not enough so that he dies, but enough that he cant make it down from his location.

I always tell my brother to always get rid of the husky or icarus that he parked right beside him when he snipes. He goes "meh".

If you aren't gonna need it again, its good to whack your icarus after you get in position so a teammate can use it sooner.
