ETQW Demoviewer

Hi,

we created a small tool to play demos with doubleclick from any path. With our tool, you can doubleclick a demo and etqw starts and load the doubleclicked demo. A readme.txt in englisch is included, perhaps you have any suggestions. Have Fun!

Version 0.8
- disable tray icon, not needed
- since some versions etqwpro does add ETQWPro in the demo filename, so i removed the window where you choose etqw or etqwpro. demoviewer now checks the given string and if ETQWPro is in filename, it starts etqw with etqwpro automatically so you don´t must press a button anymore.

Don´t know, i didn´t know this one before your Post! Can you doubleclick demos with it?

Edit: yes you can. ok, use it ;) perhaps i code something from this in our tool, we´ll see. didn´t know this tool before, great!

Version 0.4 released, i added some Demo Controls and the dummy demowatcher.ndm is deleted after you quit etqw. You must delete etqw-demos.ini and generate a new one to set your sdnet\username\base path. etqwbinds.cfg and sdnet\username\base\bindings.cfg are backupped , then demo controls are added and if you quit etqw, the backups are written back.
Please read the included readme.txt !

i added the most important demo controls, but everyone can make his own. you can edit demo.cfg in the program dir and you done.

I added etqwpro support. Doubleclick a demo, a small gui appears with two buttons, ETQW and ETQWPRO. If you click on ETQW, standard ETQW starts.
If you click ETQWPRO, ETQW starts with fs_game etqwpro. ETQW cannot watch ETQWPRO Demos. You must set your SDNET Path correctly, read readme.txt "UPGRADERS TO 0.6 PLEASE READ!"
When you quit ETQW, gui disappears.

Version 0.7
If etqw crashed, and you restart etqw with our demoviewer, then you have no backup of bindings.cfg and democontrols keys are IN your regular config. Now a Folder config_backups is created in profile\base or profile\etqwpro and the same in sdnet\base or sdnet\etqwpro. Backups are written to this folder now with date-time-filename, in example: 060408-231510-bindings.cfg . If ETQW crashed, you can easily go back now to your old config. The last backup is rewritten to etqwbinds.cfg or bindings.cfg if you quit etqw.

- fixed setting and use of fs_userpath; if you set your profile folder with fs_userpath cvar to a different location then my documents folder, the demo doesnt start and a new profile is created in the standard fs_userpath (in my documents folder).
- added some ressource data, fileversion, filecomment...

It should work with Custom Maps and it supports ETQWPro and yes, it works with 1.5.
