This is something that irritates me and I'm sure many others. Engineers on the MCP or constructing, or others trying to do the objective, should not be the front line. All other classes should move the line up to where the objective is or ahead of it to be effective. Basically all supporting characters should take position where the objective is or ahead of it. Don't just hang back at spawn letting the objective completers be the front line.

Like on slipgate, how many times is it that it's the covert ops against all the enemies at the slipgate. If the team would move the line up to the slipgate the covert would have a much better chance.

Unfortunately it seems like the only teammates willing to run in to battle and fight alone are the medics. You know, the guys that jump on the husky and run off in front of their team, run off to where none of their team is, where none of their team has died yet...

Field Ops usually try to get close to the front line to spam airstrikes but they try to be stealth about it, hiding, not shooting unless they have to. Soldiers always try to find a good rocket sniping spot, not unlike the real snipers who hide further away, even if they're supposed to be hacking. God I love getting sniped when I'm playing Strogg on Slipgate, or the second objective of Refinery, or third objective of Valley. You'd be surprised how often it happens and how few wins GDF get when it happens. Seems like the slipgate never gets hacked, I don't know why??? A few times i've lol'd them, called them out, and miraculously it stops happening and activity picks up at the slipgate. Go figure.

I fully agree. A big problem on pubs atm. Maybe it's because of the stats, maybe many players are just muppets who dont get it.

I agree with you too.. Stats are cool, but its not the way it should be played when stats are involved. For a very good game, go to unranked servers... I do so...

As a Covie I like to get the accurized weapon and snag uniforms. There's nothing quite like being in the enemy spawn and knifing people as they run to the objective. Of course it works best where the spawn is indoors.

If you lose the disguise just bunny hop and the enemy TKs. Not good for XP but, oh well;)

Great post to contradict clan stacking on servers!

we like to play as a team and move as team, you have to while playing GDF on slipgate.. if you go rambo like so many peeps do on pub servers you dont have a chance..

a well placed vampire or two on the slipgate can take out the strogg, APT's, and mines-- leaving cov's a chance to hack while meds and the fieldops cover them..

it has worked many times for us so called clan stackers!! ;)
