Not gaining rank

I just bought the game and in 2 sessions was high scorer. But I never got any rank? What am I doing wrong? Can someone tell me how you rank up so quickly or even get rank?

it's cumulative, you have to get a certain number of xp I believe, takes a few games when on a server, if playing computer it happens fast

you have 40 xp... how much rank do you expect to get with that? the top players have well over 100,000 xp.

either your not playing on a ranked server or your not as good as you think you are.

Check your achievements (the medals). For each new requirement that you get, you get promoted.

I guess you were playing on a non-ranked server

Also don't play against the computer offline as it won't add to your persistent stats.
