Could someone provide me with some good tactics for the last objective (And sometimes the first) as a strogg? Every time I play this map it always tends to end up with a 20 min campfest and strogg lose.
Don't go in there alone. If you are alone, wait for reinforcements. Set them under pressure, don't let them plant mines, throw 'nades from the service door-"plateau" up there.

Yes, unfortunately, all these tactics have counter-measures such as them throwing nades up to the plateau, and the fact that their medics are far better at their task than our technicians (instant defib vs not-instant spike).
Not even icarus whoring seems to help.
Area22 is a fav map of mine because of the Icarus whoring:
1. When you enter the building with the Icarus, try to get above the crates without hitting the ground. Try and glide the entire way - you will get there faster. The faster you get inside to the objective, the less time the GDF have to plant their mines and camp it.
2. If you find that you are a bit late and that its mined and camped, stroybomb the objective to remove the mines. At this point you will be the number 1 target, so if you aren't a good flyer - practice.
Learn how to jump off the Icarus mid air by pressing G and then pressing spacebar or F to "parachute" - own them with the lacerator, plant the explosive and jump back on. Keep in mind that smart players will try and shoot your icarus hoping the vehicle explosion will pwn you when you plant.
3. Once you have planted and you are back on your icarus, you have to make sure the engies dont defuse. ;)

Mmm, that could work, I have to admit I haven't trained that much with the Icarus, I'll give it a try, thanks ;)
Any other ideas?

Two keys here are technicians creating spawnhosts to push up the strogg advance, and using the icarus to harass and confuse the enemy defense. The final objective has a fairly large area with multiple level changes that you can use to the icarus' advantage. The key is not to concentrate on getting kills, but to distract/delay as many enemies as possible. This also works on the first objective to a lesser extent.

I rarely lose Area 22 if I play Aggressor. I might have lost once recently but whatever.
0) You only need 1 good Aggressor if you do it right.
1) Get there early, while the mining laser is shooting the door
2) Get an Icarus (should have the free reward by then)
3) Plant a charge on the Service door
4) Go through the bottom and fly up in the Icarus
5) Watch the bottom for Engineers come through the side area by the crates.
6) Bomb the hell out of them.
This is where the plan splits:
A) If you planted on the Service door, you can't plant on the Slipgate immediately. That's fine, the Service door is hands down the best path and you should clear it just in case you die.
B) If you hold off the initial Engineers and GDF, you can plant the Plasma charge in 45 seconds and you win
C) If you die, that's fine too, just make sure you cleared any mines or prevented any from getting armed.
Assuming you die (I always factor that in, I just to buy time for my team to catch up)
8) Get another Icarus
7) Go through the Service door again
9) Shoot Stroybombs while going through Service door area
This is major. Engineers may have planted mines in that area, especially at the doorway before the Slipgate. The whole point of having an Icarus is being able to trigger mines without using your body.
10) Shoot Stroybombs over the side of the Slipgate as you exit the Service hall. It very doable, just don't get naded or shot.
11) Fly over the Slipgate and bomb the opposite side of the gate from where the GDF enter. Bomb any GDF present.
12) Fly down to the Slipgate and plant the charges.
13) GET BACK IN THE ICARUS AND CONTINUE TO HARASS
By now, your team and the GDF should be duking it out. From the service door, the Strogg have the tactical advantage if they can exploit it. By flying around in the Icarus, you distract the GDF, allowing teammates to get the drop on them. If you do it right, you will have multiple charges on the Slipgate before you can say 'Oh my Strogg'.

Surprised to see someone asking for help on this stage of the mission. In my experience, the Strogg win 99% of the time they blow the gates before the 5:00 mark or so.

From the higher platform you can jump right to the objective with the spikes out, just clear the mines with a nade then make the jump. It means you dont have to tackle the stairs or any other pesky mines.

Keep moving, don't try to camp on the balcony or elsewhere where you can be spammed with nades. Make pressure, everytime you see the slightest chance of planting, do it. Even if the charge gets disarmed it will screw up their defense while they are doing so. Don't be afraid of dying, keep them under pressure. If a charge is armed, spam nades there, spam stroybombs, concentrate on the engineers and medics near the objective, ignore everyone else, don't be afraid of dying. Keep them under pressure. Kill the medics. Keep them under pressure. Don't allow them to slow you down. And keep them under constant pressure.

Medics with Spawn Hosts + Icarus + Aggressors with Hyperblasters = win for Strogg.
I've often stood on the upper platform and gunned down half-dozen GDF reinforcements as they try to enter the Slipgate room. Combine it with a medic spamming stroyents and Icarus spammers, you'll eventually reach a point where the Strogg team can push into the room with overwhelming numbers.

Yeah, the Slipgate room is basically made for icarus. There is no real way to counter it in there except by having like 5 people waste their time shooting at the damn thing.
Mmm, that could work, I have to admit I haven't trained that much with the Icarus, I'll give it a try, thanks ;)

Another version of the "parachuting off the Icarus": [This can be used on other maps too]
*Before you jump on your Icarus switch to the Explosive
*Jump on and fly to the objective
*When you are mid air above or near the objective - Press G and then Spacebar
*You should land next to the destroy objective and AS you land CROUCH and place the charge on it and charge it in one motion. ;)
This is perfect for maps like ARK and Quarry where you are racing against the GDF at the start of the map or like Area22 [ at the start of the last phase ]
Having the charge in your hands as you land next to the objective can be the difference b/w you planting the charge successfully and getting killed mid charge.

One more thing, double shield + hog to take down the tank camping at the buttom of the ramp.

Area22, first stage as Strogg: a constructor should make it his life's ambition to capture the spawn of the gdf. They spawn next to the generator so this will give you a big advantage. I prefer a constructor because he/she can place mines but in the end, any class will do. Getting their spawn will give you extra time to plant or hold off the people that try to defuse!
Last stage is a still a bit of a mystery to me, so I can only point out things I find useful. Still as a Strogg: mine your forward spawn! One way to win time as a GDF is to recapture the spawn of the Strogg, so be prepared to deal with that. The next thing are the vehicles and especially the tank. You do not want a tank inside. Aggressors with Obliterators and Constructors with Plasma Launchers can be very helpful here. Both weapons are good to clear mines at the objective as well. Set your spawn location and bring in the desecrator. It can help to clear the hallway and keep a check on people spawning when you planted. Last but not least, there's a Hog just behind you're spawn and it's a great way to surprise the GDF. You can use it to get rid of the tank inside and it's a fast way to get real close to the objective. The entrance to the tunnel is a bit tricky so be careful when you use sprint.

^ Although capturing GDFs spawn seems the intuitive thing to do - it actually makes it easier to hold the second objective [ mining laser ].
Its far better to plant, and hold the room while you [ the constructor ] make your way to the mining laser before everyone else does. When the first objective is completed, all the GDF players that spawned just before the first objective is blown - have to make their way back on foot. Where as Strogg has all their vehicles... leaving you [ the constructor ] with time to complete the mining laser.
Think of the bigger picture.

If you play oppressor, support technicians in their tasks of reviving and spawn - host creating by deploying shields for them in front of unconsious teammates and corpses.
