Different chat context for different classes?

I just started playing medic/technician (turns out I suck at it lol) and hear different canned chats like the ones below playing GDF medic:

"Thanks man, shman, eh?"
"Would you kindly not shoot me in the ass!"

There's a few more for GDF and different ones for Strogg but were they always there and only for medics/techs?

Nope, "thanks shman" is a randomly chosen chat when you hit "thanks" on the GDF side... The "shoot me in the ass" is the equivalent to the strogg "I'm not a relevant target" - it's automatic when you deal damage to a player on your team (there are 2 or 3 for each team, I think) :)

Short answer - neither are class-related, and both have been present since release AFAIK :)

OK thanks. I only heard a simple "thanks" or "Hey watch it buddy" or "Strogg on Strogg" before.
