I suspect the jaggies is from Fraps. I find their screencaps to JPG aren't as defined as I would have liked. If the dumps were in BMP, perhaps you might see better quality screen caps.

i think the 30 FPS is a cap @ that rez. i would love to find out how the 7800GTX handles at higher rez. :)

I believe there's a way to uncap the fps cap.

i tried that it it showed in console that it worked but my fps stayed at 30, no matter what. when i was on the menu screen and when I was playing. always 30

Hahaha, yes. It's the UH60 all over again.

The artillery is not without its limits. You have the potential to teamkill people a lot if you're not really careful. It also has a long recharge time (which I think differs from artillery piece to artillery piece) as well as being difficult to target. It needs to you to stay still and hold the pointer in a single place for quite some time.

Yes, there's an interface menu. There's one similar to BF2 (which I can't figure out how to use all the time, maybe it's broke or I'm doing something wrong). There is also one similar to Tribes on the middle mouse button, except you scroll up and down to select things. I don't think this is as effective as the tribes vvv system, but it still works reasonably well.

Yep, it's pretty annoying... in fact, I hate it. I hate playing infantry because of it. Absolutely cannot stand it. They strafe side to side so much faster than I've seen in any other game... I realize that I can strage side to side too, but it's just annoying ...

Aye but it has no time delay and there is alot of it so to balance it out, they had to make it weak.
Remember BF2? It took a good while for it to land after firing, so it gibbed.

Here is a quick stupid little video I did, I was just messing around with my Fraps. I know the video is a little messed up, but that cause I used windows movie maker. Thats all I have on this PC... Also when I had fraps going, I was laggin big time, took like 6 steps to turn in the mech.

You wouldn't be able to playback, as it requires you to run a local server to watch, which is not in the beta.

i just want to see a lot of hard core combat like on the spot.. some of the vod.s i've seen the combat looks a bit "praticeed" like its acters on a stage.. but i'd like it mostly for when the GDF are attacking INSIDE the sewer i just want some VERY intesnse combat

as long as you can't delete the grass form the game.. it should add cover

the bitrate needed for such a high paced game is really not practical if you want to show the quality.

btw, what are your framerates like? My config is similar to yours (QX6700 @ 3.33ghz, 8800GTX)

Downloaded a lot quicker today.
I will add a soft limit per client soon to prevent those problems a little bit.

Q: How you get all that information up about your firing squad ?
A: Look in your Game Advanced Settings for show fireteam location !

A: Standard Key must be Home I think !
