WTF How do i Play?!

Hey everyone,

Im extremely excited about this game so i thought what the heck £5 subscription to fileplanet for a month and i can play the beta a few days early.

Now they've taken my money and i see nothing. Everything seems the same.

I click on download the file (where i had to find a direct file link elsewhere) and when i press download it brings me to this :

Why should I have to subscribe if I already am!? I am one pissed off customer. Can anyone help?

Edit : Wait up...are they trying to see you NEED to pay for an annual subscription. Thats an utter joke. I just wasted £5 for nothing. Do we get any advancement on the signups for being a monthly member?? Cheers

The annaul one is just a sneak limited peak. You get the chance to sign up for your key in the next few days. Just sit tight and wait

That really wasnt made clear. Can anyone explain to me abit clearer than the crappy explanations elsewhere. So will non-subscribers get the beta on..saturday?


For being a now subscriber for a month what can I actually do apart from download without a wait? It advertises "free games"? I cant see them anywhere. Seems like its a big rip-off if you ask me. Unless anyone can shed any positive light on the subscription i'll certainly tell my friends not to waste their money.

New Annual FilePlanet or Founders' Club Subscribers can get into the Beta Early!

The full beta is released mid week. Normal monthly subs will get into the beta this week, I'm guessing wednesday, this will be open to ALL subscribers for 3 days, after which free account users will be able to get keys. It's just that annual subscribers have got in early.

Ok its quite simple really you need to pay ME $20 for an information service i will then provide you with the information you requested on how and when to get your Key and download.

I may as well get in on the act too it seems to work for FP;)

Right okay cheers blodtang. So at least we get it 3 days early.. worth a fiver i suppose :) Lets hope theres some more decent betas up on fileplanet in the next month.

If you read the description on this site it really does not make that clear. It just says a "select few" fileplanet subscribers, "If you are a FilePlanet subscriber, you may get the chance to partake in this." - indicating that any subscription status has a chance of being entered into the beta.

Edit : What annoys me is that we cant preload / download the beta now =/ I really want to be ready so that when i get back later on tomorrow I can fire up the game, create an account and be ready. Rather than having to download the entire game first.

well just to point it out, you didn't read properly either. you know how it mentions about free games? that is if you stay loyal and remain subscribed to them for a period of time, say months. as you stay longer, you show that you have worth and hence free games will start poppin out. the games that will mainly come about are those that are cheap cheap, classics [hence the picture of Call of Duty].

What annoys me is that we cant preload / download the beta now =/ I really want to be ready so that when i get back later on tomorrow I can fire up the game, create an account and be ready. Rather than having to download the entire game first.

There are ways you can do this... lets just say fileplanet isnt the only place you can download it from ;)

Hahah yeah ill go find that. Nothing wrong with torrents though, their a legit form of file distribution often used by smaller time developers etc as a free way to distribute their games.

No actually it was pretty much false advertising. If you read what it says "Get free games and guides, the longer you stay more free games you can recieve" (exactly copied)

Thats saying you can get free games straight away, then if you stay longer you can get even more. Doesnt once state that you cant get any unless you stay longer. Its just a way of them miswording stuff to scam you pretty much. Fair enough from their money view-point, but a bastard-joke for us consumers.

So do you think there will be a shortage of keys for subscribers or we'l be safe? I wont be back till about 4pm GMT time so if the beta comes out before then I dont want to have paid for nothing...

Aye, I got lucky and downloaded the game while the mirrors where still running. Ive got to wait till tomorrow to get a key for it work though.

Im guessing that they will be friday and saturday handing out keys for the free guys. seeing that tomorrow and thursday they will be giving keys for the payers. (middle of the week is wednesday right? lol)

there is a specific number of keys being given out each day, so if you miss out there is always the next day... etc. etc.

Well since I live in South East Texas... I would probably say 8-10 A.M.
Personally I don't know, they didn't give a time and they just said they would be releasing in the middle of the week (tomorrow)
Badman, could you shine some light on what a probable time is?

yah time would be great. also if you read this, will there be any servers in asia??? if no... then i hope i'll be able to play on aussie/US servers :(... 300ms. *that really makes me want to cry lol*.
