Displaying Team Names?

Hi beta testers :) ,

i was wondering is there a way to display teammates' names on the screen or on the compass? thats one of the main features i liked in BF2 because it facilitated clan teamwork and me finding my brother easier ;-)

Not currently. Mousing over them will show their name. Additionally, if you use fireteams, you can see the class icon over the head where some simple deduction will find who you need.

I imagine names were done away with to reduce the clutter that already exists on the HUD if they were in at one point.

I believe the H key is the default key to create or join a fireteam. Once you do that, you can invite other players and then you'll see some additonal information to help you team up
