Just in case you haven't read about our Community Based Beta Group yet, read this:

Ok, here is the deal: We Need serious reliable testers with as much experience as possible.
We have currently 5 Beta keys available, and once I have a list of interested testers, SyncError from ID-Software is going to fight for our purpose to get our testers beta keys.

What you need:
+ lots of time to spend on this.
+ a headset + teamspeak
+ experience with quake engine games, prefered ET players (ET-similar games like Battlefield will do too.)
+ You should have an eye on bugs and always be ready to note them on a piece of paper.
+ Teamplay & Fairness in your heart.
+ serious interest, we don't need people playing for a day or two and then leaving again.
+ a pc that can run Doom3, Quake4 or other Doom3 engine games.
(we need a good mix of high end pc's as well as mid range pc's to find all important aspects.)

Additional skills, which would be nice:
+ experience in beta testing
+ competitive Enemy Territory experience
+ good knowledge about what's behind the game engines.

Please be patient, it is not going to be rushed, I just made this deal and want to save as much time as possible.

List the following things in your application:
- official nickname, what you want to be called (not for the game just to have fixed name to call you)
- first person shooter games you played (mark the ones you played competitively)
- clans you have played in (first person shooter clans only)
- mods you have worked on or betatested.
- your system specification as detailed as possible (if possible doom3/quake4 average fps).
- what country & timezone you are living in.
- what kind of internet connection do you have.
- how much time would you like to spend on this test per day ?
- why do you think you should get a key ?

Ive been in betas before and i have a high-end PC. I also have Ventrilo and Teamspeak with a headset. I spend alot of time on my PC playing FPS games and know what to look for.
my pc:
Nvidia 8800gts
amd 4800x2
2 gig ocz ram.

I've had previous experience before on a commerical product (see Darwinia by Introversion Software), and I have idled on your channel as well since it was setup. I do intend to spend a lot of time playing and testing this game and do have a mic and headphones available.

im willing to help you out. My exams are over, so i've got lots of time to test.
I've been playing ET for over 3 years now, and still play it quite some hours every week, but have also played bf, quake, unreal.
As experienced clanmember, teamplay is certainly not a problem.

My laptop is quite high end at the moment. The interesting thing is that it's an nvidia go7900gs, which sometimes causes trouble (with drivers and stuff, nvidia is having a hard time updating there drivers for mobile cards, and im on vista).

As there is no emailadres i can send my appilcation to yet, this is mine ^^

i would love to play et:qw to know if it is realy the game we would play next (im sick of bf2 (and his bugs) and im just w8ting to play et:qw atm) and to see the game play and his bugs =D and help you out

all yes for me.. with all the time i spend here you know i got LOTS for the game :)

thats no bug, its part of the gameplay.
no theres a bug where you can strafe and sprint while shooting and your not suppose to be able to sprint while shooting at all

hmm not sure about this one, I have experienced this once too, but it felt more like it just stopped sprinting although I kept pressing the button.
going to have a look at this in the beta tests.

I havent checked any of the applications yet, will do in the evening,
but for those who are afraid they're in the wrong timezone: might be there are others in your timezone, we don't have to be all in the same timezone, just enough to do serious testing. just send in your applications, if you havent done so already, then we'll see how many testers can play together.

Ah oh well, i still sent in my application. I dont find playing on high pings that counter-effective though if you play smart.

Just to clear this up:
everyone can join the beta team, but those who are in china/australia probably won't get a key from us. if you get one of the 60k free keys, and you feel like your connection to america or europe is strong enough and not annoying either you or the other players on the server, then you are free to join us.
Just understand there are only a limited number of keys we get, and with your connection you are lowest priority on the list.

Just send mine :) It's very nice idea TTK-Bandit. Many of people who gets keys from fileplanet just play for fun, not really testing things, they think it's just a next demo. Yes, this is public beta, they can do what they want but.. meh.

All applications have been checked and the list has been send to SyncError, now we'll have to wait a little and then all those who have been accepted will get an email from SyncError.
Please don't bug him with Questions about this, I'm holding contact with him, and it only slows out the process if you ask him questions about it.

Results for the Free Keys for beta testers of the Organized BetaGroup.
I'm sorry for those who did not get in and hope you will get one of the free fileplanet accounts.
You are still allowed to join the group even if you did not get a key from us and got one from FP.
I did my best but more than 20 keys was not possible.
Some ppl bought a key and others got in their place, lucky you's who got a free key :)
if any of this list payed for a key and has this extra, please tell me and we will get it to the next on the list.
At this place I want to Thank SyncError for his help on getting the keys.
Without you this would not have been possible!
