View Full Version : Is Lego mode really necessary...

When zoomed in? Can't you put in like a neat little skew or fish-eye effect instead of 16 bit Marioworld effects?. The lego-mode blockyness when zoomed in makes me chant to the anti-aliasing gods hoping they'll perform a miracle and fix it. It really looks bad.

Fluff-wise Strogg visors don't have AA. In fact, I think Ranger wore an even more primitive Strogg visor in Quake I, which explains a lot of things.

It's hard to tell what's really going on with it. It looks like anti-aliasing makes it look slightly better ... but again it's hard to tell.

Thanks for the screenshots. It's hard to aim at people because all i see is a blob and trying to discern between the blob and the foliage if he stands still is hard (outside by the emp thing). If it's cannon for strogg to have this well think about changing it, because It just feels like a time-warp into 1995 when you zoom in.

That's a downside to the railgun and other scoped guns...
