Game freezes on me, is my computer too slow?

I have an amd 3200, 2 gigs of ram and a x1600pro(agp). I have the video settings on low, it is fine till someone shoots at me or i shoot at them. Then it just freezes and stops, is my computer just too slow? I'm pretty sure it is, but i see guys in here with similar setups saying they are running it fine.

try new drivers. try everything on the very minimum and see from there.

yea, im going to try a fresh restart, ive been needing one for a while, then ill try the new drivers.

turn off all outside processes while playing, auto update/checkers are the worst offenders
