Ladder Sliding

Hi. I just found out before that if you're on a ladder you can press C (crouch button) to slide down it. May be common knowledge, I don't know, but I thought it was pretty cool. Just letting anyone who didn't know know.

Oops, nice one didn't know that. I always throw myself of the ladder and try to grab it before I break my legs on the floor.

You can still break legs if you slide too much ;)

pretty useless, u can go down way faster by turning ur back on the ladder and 'catch' it just before the ground. And its usually better to sacrifice those 10hp and do a suicide jump down, than to bother urself with the ladder.

This is what I usually do also...but its nice to know you can slide down some of the longer ones.

i do tend to jump off and grab the ladder at the last minute, but the more options the better!

The sliding trick is useful, and handy for long ladders.

You can also use it when people are trying to shot you, although usually I just turn around and try to fall off.

Yeah I think anyone who has played ET just used this method and never explored any other. That is some great info ! ! ! ! ! <3

you should play offline, and activate cheats, then activate third person to see if the "sliding down the ladder" animation plays out.

You can also press "jump" to climb the ladder ... good if you need to get up, but still want to look down.

(i also accidentally found that out after 400 hours not knowing it:p )
