What are the binds for controls in flyers? And for pitch and yaw speeds? I cant seem to find them, and i would like to manually rebind the defaults... thanks :)

What binds are you wanting? Flares? Weapons? Air-Brake?
Elaborate to collaborate :)

hmmm I got those 3, but i want the commands to set pitch and yawspeeds for movements (strafe, turn, look up/down etc) i know those exist. And is it possible to bind the strafe movement (which is mouse x axis movement by default) to s and f ( my strafe keys when on foot ) and to bind the turning left and right to mouse x axis movement?

Here is some useful bind when you in an anansi,
seta g_bind_context_anansi "anansi"
bind "SPACE" "_speed" "" "anansi"
This uses space bar for hand brake in the air, so you can shoot better.
bind "q" "_vehicleCamera" "" "anansi"
This changes the view using q.
bind "e" "_weapnext" "" "anansi"
This changes the weapon from LAW/rockets by pressing e, this is very useful, as it is better than using mouse3, especially if your mouse wheel has no "clicky" stopper.
The default key also uses cap lock, which allows you to aim with your LAW/rockets.
I don't usually fly, so that's all the bind I know, there are still lots of bind you can mark around with.

I sometimes get the feeling that I'm the only one who thinks the default controls are fine.

nick, i knew those command, and gorker, maybe you are the only one :) So there isnt a way to rebind strafing and turning in an aircraft? but there is a way to adjust pitch/yaw speeds.. nobody knows those binds? (gorker, i wna change the strafing becuase i dont like swinging so much with mouse, or at least set the pitch/yawspeeds up because the way it is now i cant move sideways into an airplane without moving up/down)

There are a bunch of cvars for this (the in_heli_ ones), but they appear to be purely joystick configs.
The mouse sensitivity does also affect aircraft handling ("sensitivity", as in "set sensitivity 4"), so you could drop that if you felt it was a bit flicky.
You might have more luck dealing with your mouse software, if you have any. My G5 will happily support custom balances and sensitivities using setpoint.
What you might be able to do is make a toggle bind, so you push it to lower mouse sensitivity while in aircraft, and push it when you return to foot.
the way it is now i cant move sideways into an airplane without moving up/down
Lastly, this is how real Helicopters and Aircraft work. If your vertical thrust is fixed, and perfectly balanced with gravity, you maintain a fixed altitude.
If you take that Lift and tilt it (by tilting forwards, or sideways), then not all of that force is being directed upwards and countering gravity. Some is being directed sideways. As such, you move sideways, but also lose altitude. You need to increase your vertical thrust to maintain altitude while banking.
Your best bet for getting used to aircraft is probably turning advanced controls on, and then trying to fly using only the tilt of your aircraft and the airbrakes. When you can do that, you'll probably begin to understand why the aircraft control how they do.

I'm not 100% sure you can strafe side to side with the flyers, but you can kinda drift from side to side. But it always seem to cause your flyer to go up and down. So I can't help you there.
The only vehicle I know that really can strafe is the hover tank/des.

Yeah, i applied the advanced flight controls and that is great ! :) its way better for me :) makes it kinda easier to aim for me
EDIT: any idea what advanced driving controls do? too lazy to add it into cfg and test myself..

i believe advanced driving controls were only available in one of the betas. That command no longer does anything from what I understand.
