Quick slipgate tip for players not familiar with covert ops.

When using a covert op on a map like slipgate you should get on a husky in the forward spawn every single time. Put your 3rd eye cam right in front of it and drive around the back of the slip gate taken the path that strogg uses to get from their spawn to the slip gate. That way you can avoid most AVTs.

Now park the husky next to any deployable before getting of it and blow your 3rd eye cam, it will disable it right away because it does huge damage. The extra nice thing about this is that by this time you're "utility bar" will be filled up already so u can use another 3rd eye cam to leave it for radar or to destroy a group of enemies/turrets. Keep the progress alive and touch yourself! I mean the gate!

Most people underestimate the power of a third eye camera, it is indeed very useful.

third eye is also a radar for a hundred feet or so. Also good on any destroy maps. I use it in slipgate to blow mines on the side I intend to hack and check for strogg before running in like a lemming for 3 secs of hacking.

I like to disable a strogg deployable, plant a 3rd eye nearby, then wait for the engie to come repair. I recommend trapping on the engie's own deployable since many miss repairing those of other people.

You can do that near spawn hosts too, but make sure to wait for their spawn shields to go away. Then explode the third eye.

The great thing about the third eye is that it last really high splash radius and huge damage. So much more fun than the flyer drone.

Ok dommafia, I remembered this post and the other day I was having some great fun with this! I would put that 3rd eye on the front of the husky and drive it straight up the main street. When I was about 100 feet away I'd bail out and start pressing the activate button. I'd get it to blow up right when it got to the left side of the slipgate. One time I blew up two Strogg who were coming to greet me over there! They both laughed about being owned by the rolling 3rd eye on the husky! That's one good thing about the vehicle momentum in this game!!! Thanks again for the tip!
