...well not really, but I was just playing and I figured I might make this strategy known to the newer players. It's sometimes a good idea to have a medic kill you (when on low health) and then revive you so you get some of your health restored, and then the medic can give you MedPacks, that way you'll get more health than if you were just given MedPacks.
I was doing this as I'm used to playing the role of Medic in W:ET and I kept getting complaints filed on me and flamed.

Agreed, people should realize that this is sometimes the best option. If you are below half health, the medic may not have any charge to heal you, but they can get you back to at least half.
Note that while this is good for the GDF, it's generally not worthwhile for strogg.

Don't forget that the paddles and the stroyent tool cause damage too, so you can kill them with the paddles, using no ammunition, then revive even quicker since they're already out
I started shooting my running away teammate with about 25hp left, made 10 shots with pistol, hit only 1 (amazing netcode/htiboxes), then the guy turned around and charged my face with his shotgun. :D

That's not a netcode/hitbox problem most likely.. The weapons are made that inaccurate so you can't just run around spraying like a made man (like what sometimes happened in ET.. also in ET a smg could outsnipe a sniper with hitting him with 100% of the bullets fired form across a map) I like better this way.. you can strafe close up and hit people good.. But you can't strafe half way across the map and hit ANYONE.. Though I've seen people try and I killed them for it
You should have crouched and put up your sites
(btw the hitboxs are bad right now.. but i was just giveing you a heads up that the weapons are also made for no mass spraying)

this was common practice used in W:ET, just be sure that you will be able to revive them, don't use this tactic in the middle of a fight
