I searched the forum, and google. Nothing.
I'm talking about the thing you get for Technician XP. What does it do?

It gives you a health boost of like 20 health points on top of your regular health for a short time.

How do you enable spike boost? Is it just when you take out the spikes? Seems odd for a technician...

I believe you select the spike tool and use ALTFIRE to trigger it. Self shock works the same way with defibs I think

what's self-shock?
but yeah I was wondering what the spike boost was too, I thought the melee weapon was the spike but I guess it's referring to the healing unit.

How do you create a spawn host. And also what are they for?

use stroyent tool on dead/unconscious GDF troops this turns them into spawn hosts... then you see thingies standing up which means its available for use, press use to claim it and then when you die and respawn you will spawn right back at the spawn host, really handy for defending sewers when GDF run over you but leave the spawn host... then you respawn and shoot em in the back;)
You can only claim one spawn host for your own if you claim another the previous one is released so someone else can claim it.
GDF medics can destroy spawnhosts with their defibs, once to reset it so it isn't claimed anymore and twice to destroy it.

Same thing as Spike Boost, different name.
