Is there a way to arm grenades before throwing them? I want to know so reaction time by opponent is at a minimum. I tried alt+fire but that just drops the grenade. Or, is there a setting to change the trigger time of the grenade?

hold your primary fire button longer while holding a grenade.

if your still learning the game (and apparently you are, since you did not know this) i advise : stay off grenades. It will only stop your potential progress at the 'newbie likes throwin nades everywhere' level. Sure, use them, just dont rely on them to do your killing. You need to shoot people to kill them,not throw them apples.

Don't use them to clear mines unless they're tripmines.
All proxy mines can be detonated without the use of grenades.

And don't be like the noodles on the server I just left and throw nades at objectives before moving in. Anyone who gets TKed, at or with the obj will and should complain 100% of the time.

If there are mines I will throw grenades (assuming there are no corners to abuse the game system and set them off without taking any damage at all), and call it out, if you still run up there and end up getting tked then you're a ****ing idiot and deserve the death.

Holding the mouse1 button will cook your grenade, like in most games?

etqw is showing you time till nade explodes-awesome.Dont waste your nades for mines.Avoid them instead-piece of cake.
