hi ppl.
im downloadin game update now and gonna start quake wars soon.
before start i wanna ask simple couple of questions.Im an ex wolfenstein player,so :

Q1:can my old wolfenstein autoexec.cfg(s) work on this game?
Q2:is there a rambo medic thingy here? tbh i hate but if necessary,i be one
Q3:color codes same as RTCW?

Q1: Nop. Most cvars and commands have new names now. Also, in ETQW you can't chain commands starting with an _ (eg. _attack, _movedown ...).

Q2: If you're asking if they exist then yes they do and they're called Techs (learn how to stroy down). If you're asking if they're absolutely necessary then no. In fact on ranked it's almost a miracle if you see a tech who uses stroy down properly.

Q3: Same method but colors have changed position. If you go to the menu where you can change your name, you can now right click anywhere on your name to have a nice and easy color selection menu.

rambo medic still rules indoors but is the only class with no counter against vehicles.

i personally thank u all for answers.i liked the game very much.and playin since a week.graphics effects textures very nice.i ve no fps lag ig but ve connection lag.and yes i learned scriptin for this game.simply downloaded a pre-made one and played on it a lil.i got what u meant.a nice thing, game reads autoexec automaticly,as soon as its located at right folder.but u can only put 1cfg max.?is this true?any ways to bypass this? coz i used to use 2 execs at RTCW.i like to write in order.one for performance other for binds.i
couldnt find any solution to that.

color system is nice.both codes and RMB function.but i cant change my name to something beside profile name.its bummer.

medic/technician is nice.they aint mainly on frontlines like used to be in RTCW.i noticed u can be rambo again.u can kill 4-5 guys then u die.but i dont see it as fun.i like teamplay."hey! u! eat my med pack. u? here,catch my medpack".i like to make offense tight wit support.

maybe putting an exec binds.cfg in your autoexec.cfg could resolve that 'problem'?

that way you can modify the binds.cfg (nice & clear cfg with just your custom binds) without having to search through everything in your autoexec.cfg

I'm not a scriptwriter myself, but this might just do the trick :)
