In addition, watching old ET:TV VODS can help you discover new ways to do things, and efficient camping spots.

There really is no substitute for playing the game though, and the best way to learn is trial and error. And listen to the VOIP chatter. Most of the time, people will be relaying information over it, or trying to coordinate the movement of the team.

If I remember correctly there was a thread about using Rocket Artillery and it included some nice vids with "trick shots". I'll see if I can find it.

My favourite artillery type when I'm GDF and way underused. Bye Desi, bye Cylcops!

Edit: this is the thread I was talking about. Only the second link to each of the vids still works, but they show some nice trickery. There's a link to a Plasma Mortar thread in the first post as well.

I'm glad/surprised to see that my mortar tutorial is still being recommended.

back then, when I made it, I thought that it was all there was to be learnt as I was one of the best/most experienced field ops/Oppressors at that time. But I still acquired even more advanced tactics as I played the game lol. I'm still playing it now and you can find me on the Gamearena and ICONZ servers.

Now, I'm not sure how I stack against others using the same class but trust me, I'm still Realllll good with that class.
