As you are spawning, hold down your “forward” key. It isn’t just to gain a couple feet of movement, in many spawn areas you can land on top of buildings or obstacles abbreviating your route considerably. You can also steer yourself to vehicles. Most importantly, if you don’t depress the “forward” key you fall straight down and people spawning behind you are stuck and cannot deploy strategically.
Check your radar as you are spawning, and engage any enemy creeping around your spawn point. If you don’t, they might re-take your forward spawn, disable your radar or other deployables, or shoot you and your teammates in the back as you move out.
Be courteous with vehicles. Wait a second or two before running off in a vehicle that holds two or more, you get more players to the objective simultaneously which is a real advantage. Try to avoid running over team mates (unless they are putting a tactical shield on the Desicrator). Don’t burn Anansi’s and Tormentors as a quick taxi, they are far too valuable in the right hands.
