Hello everyone!!

I would like to know if the pre-order is available in south america, if not, when it should be available.

I hope it don´t take long, i can pre-order most of the games before market launch, but i don´t get any news about this release in my country... :(

^^ move to canada a hard task for us... (adapt a be accepted in a 2 cold place ^^) and online is complicated... we are tx 2 times the price of the product + shipping ... (ends up that we pay almost 4 times the price of a online product)

And just for the records.. would be a shame not release here becouse there is a very large market (over 200 millions population) and after all.. would only help to promote piracy...

Best regards,

(Sorry for the poor english, portuguese post below)pre-order is not avaliable yet for Brazil, but I think that will be avaliable at beggining of september. There's already a Quake Wars page in EA Brasil website (the oficial publisher of the game in Brasil is EA): http://www.brasil.ea.com/Games/10801,pcdvd/.

(sorry for the poor english again)He's asking if we (brazilians) can buy games in Steam and if its necessary use a International Credit Card to buy them. the answer is: probably yes, but I never tried yed. And if it's possible, probably is necessary use a International Credit Card.

I'm from Argentina, and Quake Wars will NOT be in Steam anytime soon so no luck there...

I would hope that Brazilian players would have an oppurtunity to play the game as well as everyone else who wants to purchase it.

From what I heard, the anti lag is so brilliant, that even if I went on a 200 ping Brazil server, my connection would not hinder my performance when playing against people with lets say a 20 ping, and vice versa.

I look forward to playing with and competing against players off all different nations.

For the record: I love the antilag in ETQW.

There's a downside to it though, with high pings. You regularly get killed by players you thought you had evaded well after dodging around corners, for example. It can also make evading things like Icarus flyers by trying to stay behind them (on their screen you might still be right in their crosshairs). I don't mind these incidents in exchange for knowing I'll actually hit a player when I hit them on my screen. But a lot of "oldschool" FPS gamers hate this way of playing.

In the end it's still optimal to only have low ping players on your server.
