Huxley is a massively multiplayer online first-person shooting game (MMOFPS) developed by the H-Studio of global online entertainment company, WEBZEN Inc. Huxley takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where human beings have mutated and are divided into two opposing races, Sapiens and Alternative. At the center of the battle for survival is Lunarites, a promising new energy source that both sides seek to obtain. Forced to battle against one another for the continuance of each race, Sapiens and Alternatives are willing to do whatever it takes to wipe out the conflicting race and gain control of the world and its resources.

just though yall might wana know =)

They already have allot of good videos out to. Sadly I think instances will be the downfall of the game.

the PvE acspect of the game is going to be a little different than other games but the PvP is going to be the most amazing thing on the planet.

having huge clan wars an huge plains with tanks, artillery, aircraft, and soldeirs is going to be awesome

Nice recruiting method caretaker but i should slap you for it ^_^; you should recruit around Huxley forums and general gaming community forums if your going to recruit for Huxley. I think that most people around here will most likely focus there efforts quake wars more then spreading there load across multiple games like EG|. Its nice to see you trying to recruit for the clan though, nice job.

On-Topic:
The hype for Huxley is a bit lackster at the moment because pretty much nothing is known about the game really and E3 won't show off much because webzen isn't going to be there for it. Hopefully Microsoft picks up there slack but an puts a booth up for them.

Yes Kareem it will be. I first saw this a few years ago at E3 and was impressed by Webzen at the time. I made the statment that here is a company who might be able to take on the big "B" (Blizzard). I have watched the studio for some time and must say I am getting a weird feeling not everything is what it appears. Well see though and Huxley has been on (AWG)'s Hit List for two years now. We normally make a list of titles to watch for possible official play consideration.

Another title to really watch if it ever comes from the same developer is A.P.B. Imagine Grand Theft Auto in a huge massive multiplayer world where you have gangs, cops, SWAT teams and the like. Looked great but they have been very quiet about it lately.

Webzen have never made a first person shooter before, and as far as I know they're generally a new studio. Just because their game is using a flashy graphics engine doesn't mean the game will be good. I doubt they'll get even close to taking on Blizzard, but then again, they're making a different kind of game which will attract a different market segment.

I think it's good not to buy any hype from games which are still early in the development phase. Once they're in NDA-less beta and are being properly play-tested by 3rd parties, then it starts getting possible to form a smart opinion and judgement about them.

CodE-E that was my opinion back at E3 2005. Fast forward two years and I would say I do not agree with my own comment back then. They had great steam rolling in but have since become very quiet and I suspect Huxley will be removed from my watch list as possible official titles that my team plays.

Heck the big "B" have things locked up pretty tight. With their soon announcment of a MMO StarCraft I suspect they will hold onto the MMO market that much longer. But oh well I still prefer FPS's and until someone makes a massive multiplayer FPS again I will be enjoying QW types of titles.

Actually Huxley is Aldous Leonard Huxley the author of brave new world the inspiration for the game. However he would have hated the game because he stated while he was alive that he hated mass entertainment. Great book though.
