View Full Version : Jihad Jeeps - They're BACK !

With a covert op and an engineer you can easily take down any enemy vehicle or deployable as the GDF.
It works like this:
1-) Engineer gets on a husky from the spawn base
2-) Engi meets up with a covert ops in the field
3-) Engi puts 3 unarmed mins on the husky
4-) Covi puts a third eye camera on the front of the husky so they can see the action
5-) Engi drives the husky into a deployable/vehicle
6-) Covi detonates
This strat will take downa cyclops from full health almost entierly. All the engi has to do is hit the cyclops with 1 grenade to kill it or a little machinegun fire.
Great fun. . also is a good time if the engi drives the husky into a group of sewer grate defenders.

This game is nowhere near BF2 in this regard. Sure, you can pull off a similar stunt, but who cares? Unlike BF2, vehicles are neither durable nor required for survival. OH NOES! They blew up your precious Titan Tank? Wait 30 seconds and here comes a brand new one, with fresh paper armor and everything. Amazing!
Or is it that explosives are scarier than 3 GPMG-wielding soldiers bringing down a Cyclops in less than 5 seconds?

No it's just fun as hell =]
The fun factor is increased because you can go full boar at a target and jump off and the husky keeps moving at a good clip.
It really isn't all that an effective trick although it will bust an entire farm of deployables in one go.
Compared to bf it does take 2 people to do this effectively and a bit of setup time. Also the covi has to stay alive to detonate. It would be funny to see how effective it could be if like 3 engis put 3 mines on it each so you had 9 mines :D
Another easy method, as Strogg:
1.) Be Constructor class.
2.) Find enemy deployable.
3.) Put three unarmed mines on deployable.
4.) Alt-fire hand grenade (sticky) right between the mines.
5.) Run!
Completely cripples most GDF equipment.

This is a carryover from the "Jihad Jeep" fad that BF2 created... you'd go spec ops, C4 the front of your jeep then drive it at a tank or whatever. You jump out and blow the C4 right before it hits.
Lighten up... you're on video game forums. That is all.

Yeah I was using a BF term. . I didn't create it but knew community members would instantly know what i was talking about. Sorry if I offended anyone it was unintentional.

Not only vehicles can be "equiped" with mines, the flyer drone from the Infiltrator class can also be mined, the only disadvantage is that you can't fly high and are a little bit slower, but the blast radius is awesome. *g* You don't even have to arm the mines, they blow up when you blow up the flyer drone.

Nice trick! Armed mines do more damage tho.. but this would be funny to do with and HE charge :D

JJ's are awsome to use but it does take some skill. Best thing to do is at the VERY beginning of the VALLEY map get like 3 or 4 of your mates to be eng. and place all mines on the vehicle. wait bit till the bridge is built, add a friends third eye (HE packs don't really work to well 'cause they're timed) and ram it down the tunnel as fast as possible :D :oppressor:
