So who's going to Quakecon this year? A friend and I are flying over from the UK, I know it's still a while off yet but I'm getting quite excited :3

I had plans on going but Job Corp got in the way, no big deal, might be able to catch it next year and hopefully we'll get some new information about their next game.
I don't think we've even got all our flights booked yet, nevermind hotel ;x
Maybe I'll see some of you guys down there! ;D
Oh and if they're gonna drop and bombs regarding the new game, it better be this year - I might not make it next time ;p

I'm actually seriously giving thought to it. Problem is I'm all the way in Alberta and I would have to find some way to fly over my computer moniter, PC case, all it's accessories and my watercooling parts.

I'd love to go. Unfortunately, I live on the east coast and do not have the means to fly there and stay in a hotel. (I have a full time job, I am married and have 2 kids, it's not a reality or an option for me)

My clan has a poll up so there maybe a a nice little geezer meeting at quake-con,not sure if i'm gonna go or not though

Under 18's are allowed, however you'll need to have a waiver signed by your parents before they allow you in. You can see a list of FAQ's (http://www.quakecon.org/faq.php#q28) here.

maybe I can get good at ET:QW and play for a team myself :P

No can do, don't have enough money for flying over from the UK.
Now if there is a decent lan in the UK that is similar I'd definitely go!
Should ask splashdamage to host one once the game is out \o/
Get a euro quakecon equivalent going on :DDD
