Doing some of the last touches on this plug-in for Notepad++ (opensource editor). It will support loop folding, syntax highlighting and auto-completion/menu driven browsing for event functions. Hope it'll help make future editing of scripts easier.

Hey Mach 10, Glad to see you coming over to ET:QW from the bf2 modding community. Excited to see some of the stuff you do with ET:QW since you accomplished some pretty amazing stuff in python for bf2.
Make sure to visit Mach 10 and other modders at http://modetqw.com/forum/index.php

Thanks man... I'm looking forward to blowing some minds w/ some new stuff. Forward ever, backward never!
I believe we have a .script language file for UltraEdit laying around here somewhere. I'll see about updating it and including it in the SDK release.

Hello Mach10,
thanks for this information. I give it a try it is OpenSource. At the moment I use this programms which are also good. But the Notepad++ looks more comfortable.
I use PSPad under Windows, which is similar to UltraEdit and free, you find it here:
http://www.pspad.com/de/
For GUI Linux is use bluefish an good solution:
http://bluefish.openoffice
or vi in console and GUI:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vi
Both linux editors are available over your paket managment (Aptitude, etc.)

The Notepad++ plug-in is ready. I created an automated Windows Installer and a manual installer. Does anyone from SD as to stipulations as to when it would be ok to post for download? Of course it will have to be updated as changes are made to the core.
