Hello MWLL|Criminal,

thanks for this information. I can not really wait. Last Time I played mechwarrior was in the past on 233MMX with 64MB and a Matrox Mystique. LivingLegends is really the best Subtitel! Do you have a release date?

Hello General.jung, how do you expect them to have a release date when the games hasn't even been released yet? anyway, like said in other forums, can't wait to see more.

Hello Chris,

thanks for your usefull post. So I explain it for you. Firstly Activision have a release range for the investors, but that is a other topic. I do not expect any accurate release date, but a range, maybe soon after the release or one year after or beyond that.

At our current rate, you can image yourself in on of our mechs in roughly a year or so after the release of the game. This is of course speculation, but if we manage to recruit more team members the release date may arrive sooner and we may have a more precise date for you.

For 3D modeling Software - Most of the team is using 3DS Max. Other have been using Maya and Zbrush.

Hm.. and what kind of gameplay will this mod offer? I never played MechWarrior..

Our stand point is thus: We wish to make a Battletech mod that is both fun and realistic. With realistic mech movement and control. However, this is a BATTLETECH mod, not soley a recreation of mechwarrior. We are taking this mod above and beyond where any Battletech game has gone. We are concentrating on all manner of combined arms that will allow the player to use a wide range of tactics on the battlefield. However, this is not a 'mech simulation! We are trying to come up with a good mix of tactical FPS and simulation that would appeal to a broader spectrum of players.

Something that Battletech or Mechwarrior hasn't done in many years is bring new players into the universe and excite a new generation of mechwarriors. Currently all the games and spinoffs are solely targetting the "hardcore" mech fans...not that i want to disapoint these types but i really want to expand the community and introduce people to the fantastic and deep universe that is battletech.
