PRobably have to do connect 127.0.0.1 into the console. If that doesn't work, then the server probably isn't up.

In order to run the game and server at same time you have to set the save path to something other then the game on the server launcher options.

These are my settings:

Look at the highlighted portions, You have to enable LAN. On the right side that's the command for setting the path. Go to your C: drive (or wherever) and create a folder for the server, you can name it what you want but just make usre you put that path in the parameters.

By the way i set Dedicated server to False but im not sure if this matters. When you start the game click PLAY ONLINE then on the top left change the SOURCE from INTERNET to LAN. Your game should show up there. Oh and if you have a firewall make sure you let the server get through. Hope this helps.

ps MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR ALL YOUR FILTERS SO IT SHOWS ON THE LIST!

did you even read my post?
everything is set up the way its described, and the server is running, as you can see in the console the bots are killing each other.
I HAVE ALL FILTERS OFF AND PB ON.

I just cant see the server in the server browser, and I cant connect through direct connect or console using my ip.

I may just give up on qw till the game comes out, cause this is too much work just to play a simple bot game, and the lag problems are so bad that I cant even load 95% of the time without getting droped to menu after 100%.

I'm a sad panda

fro, maybe you're having the same problem as me - the server won't "authenticate" without an active Internet connection. When I'm connected to the Internet the server loads perfectly.

Can anyone help with this?

After the update (see http://community.enemyterritory.com/index.php?q=node/109 ), the "Play Computer" button works. No need to mess with the serverlauncher anymore if you want to play against bots on your local box only.

Dont know much about computers. never have. never will. But I have no probs playing bots offline when I type "localhost" (without quotes) into text box which appears after you click on 'direct connect' tab. I could be talking bollocks and not helping at all- but just putting it out there.
