Works well in games but nvidia control panels crashes sometimes.. Specially when I try to configure my ET:quake wars profile.

I've never used profiles. Why do you use them over just setting up everything in-game?

From what i've read there's no real performance gain. I'll stick with the current drivers i have at the moment.. if it ain't broke etc

I haven't had any problems, but then again like Joe999 said, I can't tell any difference either.

i am stuck with vista at the moment, although the 158.18 drivers are working fine for me in vista.
I wish i was back on XP but due to motherboard manufactorers still liking to use flopyy discs for there RAID drivers im afraid i cant :(

Is there no option to get Sata drivers on an USB stick? Tought XP could get drivers from those as well. Not sure tough.
Still I hop NVIDIA will make the OpenGL performance good in Vista, I will not step back to XP... Ill miss the indexed search and UAC (yes UAC) oh, and the driver recovery, happened to me with crashing NVIDIA driver, very very nice, after 30 secs I could start playing again without reboot :)

yep... got myself a 7900 GS, would be nice to get a decent update for other series as well
but... can imagine they concentrate @ issues of 8-series this moment
... my ATI's always crashed ...

Dont put it like that! Thats over half-a-year ago. Bloody hell.
Maybe they had already perfected the drivers for xp?
