well gettin a bit frustrated here:
demoCut:
i watch a demo (playnetdemo demoname) and in this demo i set the start and the end marker. This works pretty nice.
Then ill do "cutdemo demoname demoname2", the map "loads" up and the screen starts to flicker around! The sound works pretty well, even the cut seem to work pretty well BUT. If you have 2 hours demo ( yes i do got that ) or even only a 30 mins demo and the part you want to cut is @ like 20 or 25 mins you will have to wait those 25 minutes till qw cuts the scene out? Isnt there smth like demo_scale available for that?
Same with rendernetdemo. Is there a way that the demo starts where you tell the command to actually start capturing. It always starts @ the beginning of each demo, and demo_scale is not really fast @ 4FPS :) (hint, go freecam and get outside the world. I got like 60 fps there then)
So whats about the cutdemo cmd. Is it bugged or is it me / my cfg?
Demos in general:
I received a lot demos in which the crosshair always points in the sky or on the ground, but not on the players you are actually shooting at. Whats that all about?

From Joe999's demo config. You could set demo_scale to what ever you want I suppose

Lets get this straight:
Democut works, BUT:
I dont see the demo, only some crazy flickering loading screen (I do hear sounds)
The cut only works (nearly) every second time. First time issuing the comman will result in an error:

Game shutdown
Stopped demo playback of demoname
issuing the complete same command again will do the cut.
Next issue: demo_scale 100 ; cutdemo demoname demoname2
will result in a bugged demoname2.
The player wont move for the first 20 seconds or so. after those seconds the demo works as the original demo.
