Modding classes?

Are there courses you can take in game modding? I looked online and found some camps for 13-17 yr olds but I'm old : /

Anyone? I'm in Los Angeles.

Many universities are starting to offer courses in game design, and usually that means creating a mod, but I'm not sure if you could find one for a specific game.

Then take into account a mod has many facets - modeling, texturing, coding, design, etc. I did my old Tribes mod by myself, but these days it's near impossible to do something like that with the increasing complexity of games.

Try to narrow down your interest into a certain field like modeling, and then search university and technical school sites for programs that match your interest.
