random (?) client kicks on linux server

Using the linux lite server as a lan server. Occasionally today it would boot 2 or 3 players, right to the play online, play lan, etc page. The clients could reconnect fine. 2 players it happened to all 3 times, 1 player happened once. We were playing against bots.

I had some output from the linux console but it got lost in the clipboard somewhere.

Any suggestions on where to look for more information?
