Linux Server shuts down

Hi guys,

our server run fine since the linuxfiles were published. Until today. while we are starting our server, it shuts down after 30seconds and the process was killed.

Im not the admin of the server and i haven't linux knowledge. And our admin is bad in writing english so that i do the translator here. My english is even bad hope you understand me. :)

Reinstalling, rebooting, tasks checking, looking at the logfile brought nothing.

+ it would be nice if you start your sever NOT in the root useraccount!

this is not normal imo. dno if its the kernel or a hardware thingy but i'd better would have a look at it

your harddrive is damaged.
Replace it and reinstall.

We are running a Linux server as well, but it is hosted via a GSP. I do not have root access, so I can not check any logs. The game log is just truncated at the point the server crashed. No helpful info there. It runs fine, until it starts to fill up. When it gets about 15 or so people on there, it crashes and reboots.

Any ideas?
