View Full Version : 2 problems(demo) - 1°dual screen - 2°connection

Hello everybody,

I've installed the demo and I'm really sad cuz I have to deactivate my second monitor to be able to play.
If I don't the game is really really laggy, I could even say laggy as hell ! 1 frame per second at top ;)

Do I have to change some settings to fix this problem or what? cuz I don't have any problems with all the other games I've had !



My second problem is that when I update the server list and then browse it and then try to join a server while it's still updating (dunno if it's linked) I loose my connection.... my ts disconnects etc... it's really weird... dunno if it's a setting problem but i'll look into it myself (I posted this problem cuz I had another problem to repport ;) )

This was a problem in the beta, change your mode to 'single monitor mode' in the nvidia control panel. Also disabling shadows seems to bring great improvement to framerates.

Yea I know, when i desactivate my second monitor it's just fine, everything at max !

But I want to keep my second monitor !
I have my teamspeak on it....

No, he didn't say you have to deactivate your second screen. You need to put your Hardware Acceleration to "single monitor". This can be done in the Nvidia Control panel

Also - there are quite a few threads here on this topic.

make sure its advanced view.

Nvidia control panel > manage 3d settings > multidisplay/mixedgpu acc

set this to single display performance mode.

Hi thanks for the info, have the same problem. But i have a german version of N-panel, can't find exactly the menu you are talking about. Could anyone make a screenshot of the menu where it can be set?
