Well, I downloaded it, installed it, launched it and everything seemed fine. Then, when I tried to start a game, I got this error:
Shutting down performance queries
idHeap::AllocateAligned request for 927319856 bytes aligned at 16 failed

I have:
Intel Pentium D Dual core 3.40GHz CPU
1022mb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX

I have updated my Graphics drivers, it was the first thing I tried.
Other than that, I have no idea what to do.

Thank you.

I got a more full error message this time:

Total Physical Memory: 1071730688 bytes
Available Physical Memory: 348823552 bytes
Memory Utilization: 67 %

From what I can tell, it seems to be asking for a ridiculous amount of physical memory.
927319856 bytes to be precise.

did you try to connect to different servers?

2 different servers and Against the computer.
It did a minute of loading, then crashed with that error.

We can safely assume it can't have much to do with our hardware, then. Please, anyone?
Failing that, is there anywhere I can go to get developer support?

I downloaded Enemy Territory: Quake wars from Steam, and it worked fine. We must've downloaded a corrupt version or something.
