cant enable 32 player..demo

Hi i love the demo btw

anyway Iam hosting a server as we speak, slow on traffic so far..only a few people here and there. I have FiOs 3mb/up and want to host 32 man. Yet in server launcher it wont let me at all, only 24 Cap. Yet in the game browser i see quite a few servers running 32man.
does it have to do with not being ranked?

The server launcher wont allow you to change the player count above 24, however you can edit the server config file manually to make these changes. Check your enemy territory "base" folder to find the configs.

I'd suggest sticking with 16 - 24 though. I have fiOs as well and that player cap seems to work best when I run a server from home.

find this line in your server.cfg, located in /base

seta si_maxplayers "24" change 24 to 32, restart

we are running 2 32 player games on 1 server. both have been full for the most part.. no hiccups, its the gameplay that lends more to 24 player max..... 32 lends to constant action.......for a new guy trying to learn the game 32 would be tuff.
