Probs with setting a server up

Sorry to bother you guys with the same old question...but i'm kinda stuck :( I can set the server up and all....even connect in LAN, but i'm wondering how to make a net game:confused: do ya need to rent it from a server or...:rolleyes: Thnx in advance

same as lan server,
just set the lanserver cvar to 0
and open the neccessary ports if they're blocked

It's kinda easy to set up a server if you read the manual
You have to open ports in your router, you can't run a server from a modem

I had written a Server Administration Tutorial (http://www.burial-grounds.com/quakewars/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.34) for the public beta that should help you with the demo. I'll be cleaning it up a bit when I get a little more time, but hopefully it's straightforward enough to get you going.
