I'm interested in the improved bot AI mentioned - I'm still playing behind a firewall at lunchtimes in the office and we only have a few players. Does anyone know whether that improvement is in the current 1.5 beta?

would probably be too unfair with their slow gamepad, but they could get some aiming aid. |

Each version of ETQW is not cross compatible, so you will only be able to play with others on the same format (PC, X360 or PS3).
Can't wait for the demo - I assume it will be Valley 2.0 It should be a massive indication of how popular X360 ETQW will be and definitely be a deciding factor in me putting cash out for it on my X360 as well as already having the PC flavour. ![]()

Right just to put in to context how much i wanted his game, I began buying parts for a PC far superior to the battered crate i am currently using just to get my greasy mits on it. 10 days ago I find out its coming out on the 360 and I now have Half a pc and am anticipating the xbox release. One thing concerns me though the lack of cross platform support combined with the lack of advertising especially in the uk.
Quake 4 was an awesome game though I purchased it late, because of this late purchase there is no one on x-box live still playing the bleeding thing. With competition being much stiffer now with the relase of COD4, HALO 3, GTA4 and the upcomming Gears of War 2 i feel that the lack of cross platform support is somewhat foolhardy, especially as COD4 completely ended the multiplayer community of Battlefield 2 another excelent game. With the lack of futher suppourt for Quake 4 a missed opportunity, I feel concerned regarding the longevity of the multiplayer game, if the potential was there for cross platform support this could be avoided as there are still countersrike multiplayer communities and given this games promise i beleive thre will be huge multiplayer communities for years to come on the PC, because two sticks or no two sticks im gonna wanna keep playing this and PC users believe they have the advantage with their aiming (which they do) from a mouse unfortunately the ability to move around is impeded by the clumbsy up/down/left/right without increments that is the keyboard. I think it would have made for some interesting gaming. All in all I think ths game is far superior to all the games mentioned above however if there is to be no cross platform support ID really need to up the hype to guarantee longterm mutiplayer success in the console market, which means more TV advertising beginnig now and some spots and interviews on the x-box dashboard magazine. i realy dont care if most of the players are on console, but if they are not cross compatble with pc and cant play on the same servers then its really daming for the pc community as there are hardly many players at the present time, some may even turn to the console versions. Its good although to keep etqw as a well know battlefield game.

my plan is single player on the 360. i'll stick to using a keyboard and mouse and multiplayer pwnage on my pc, i will get killed if i use a controller online inkubus - those that have played this game for any length of time won't forget it. qw is epic

Here inside Splash Damage's hollowed out volcano, we've been keeping a close eye on the Xbox 360 version of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars and it's certainly shaping up great. Just last week we received the latest build of the game and it's been running constantly on the Xbox 360 in the break room ever since.
