Certainly not the best tactic/use of firepower, if delivered properly it is extremely effective. Load a HE charge on a husky, line 'er up, wait... wait... then send it on its merry way towards a nice explosion. Works great attacking APTs and sieged Cyclops from the side, and quite often will get a kill or 2 not intended.

I highly recommend you get 1st star in Vehicles first, so you can call for a husky anywhere on the map.

Told my clanmate to go to the Strogg rear spawn while I was practicing this some... I was on the hill above (about even with the wall that contains the shield), out of sight. I sent the husky a bit too son, but was hilarious to watch it tumbling end over end, and just happened to [Husky] splat him about 4 seconds before the HE charge exploded. We were both rolling on the floor at the sight of that, really wish I had that recorded.

rofl. the HE charge is the charge for distroying distroy objectives?
nice Idea though. just like what some poeple call a "jihad jeep" or somthing like that. you put C4 on a vehicle send it on its way and when it gets near its target BOOM! would ur idea work with mines instead?put some mines on the front?
the only bad thing about the vehicle bombs is that sometimes a teammate comes along and drives away with your car bomb :-P taht gets annoying real fast.

I was doing kinda this same thing today on lunch. I would grab a husky and just circle the EMP base, running over strogg and generally distracting them. I got a lot of laughs out of it, and a few kills too!

You can also plant and arm mines on the Husky. You can almost hear the WTF when you hit a Cyclops with a husky with 3 mines strapped to the front.

Little bit off topic but one nice way i found of getting vehical rank one is i grabbed a hog and rammed a tank.
I hit the spring button which activates a turbo type thing and hit the tank side on it had 2 people in and the tank was on 60% health.

I automattically got vehical rank one i was pretty impressed.

already disscused in the thread hogging... it's in this section... you can even kill full hp tanks when on full speed

Jihad tactics can be pretty effective, especially with the mines...go for a head-on collision with a hog!

sounds pretty useless to me on a hog.... why? because the hog got a ramming shield!!! it just destroy everything you want like that even tanks if they don'tshoot you first so mines arent that usefull for hogs... for huskies... mmmmmmmmm gotta try that

This is off topic. But once I was driving a husky and was hit dead on by a hog. The explosion destroyed the hog's front wheels rendering it immobile! It also spun the hog sideways pinning a desecrator and cyclops behind it. Why they didn't just blow it up was beyond me.
PS There was still someone in the hog.

lmao i was just experimenting this today and these 2 dumbass guys were following me and they were on my team.. They both run after the huskey.. lol one of the guy gets in but the other guy team kills him for the huskey then he drives away and 5 seconds later BOOM!!

yeah you can destroy wheels

I once did it on a rampaging strogg hog guy who tried to run me over but just missed... two shotguns shots on the wheel and then he run me over with 3 wheels left ... then he limped away calling me a bastard

just plant some mines on a husky/armadill or similar but wait for a teammate to get on and go with something else yourself... then when he gets near an enemy or rammed by a hog boom!!! you get a TK of course but who cares he shouldn't be driving with mines on his car

The explosion destroyed the hog's front wheels rendering it immobile! It also spun the hog sideways pinning a desecrator and cyclops behind it. Why they didn't just blow it up was beyond me.
