I thought i'd start this thread by helping the Strogg team out! The map isn't as 'unfair' as you'd think for the strogg team, you just have to use the vehicles and weapons correctly. If anything it can be unfair for the GDF.

First i really want to point out there is a way to get behind the sewer gates to really fend off the GDF in planting charges. I'm pretty sure it's called the 'sewer overflow passage' or something like that, but anywase, to get there start at the Strogg main base. Wich is where you'd start if you were fighting in the sewers anywase, then turn left theres a passage behind the waterfalls that will lead you on top of the sewers and once you get far enough you'll drop behind the locked sewer gates.

When i get behind the locked gates i tend to wait with the strogg rocket launcher (obliterator) to destroy any gdf who comes close to the gates. It works extremely well but it won't last long if you're by YOURSELF (wich i have no help) and you run out of ammo or they sneak past to the north gate and plant there. Running from each gate takes to long.

Now defending the EMP disrupter is difficult but the main thing you want to do is either defend the gate, or get to their (GDF's) first forward spawn and make sure they don't obtain it for fast access into attacking the middle base. What i do is take the Icarus and stay on top of the right building of the disruptor and whenever somones contructing i drop bombs on them killing them. When nobody is contructing i get to the ladder behind me and just continue dropping bombs so nobody comes behind me and kills me.

One last thing is i alwase find the strogg helo sitting useless, and it's great for destroying GDF armor (once you get used to flying) i think this might be because people still don't know where it is. It's right to the north of the Strogg main base or behind their forward spawn outside the sewers. It's easy to take an icarus in the air and get to it, or if none are available you might have to scale a building or two lol.

I hope us strogg players don't get destroyed so much now. lol.

I have been finding on the servers that I play on that us strogg are just kicking the gdf some times they can't even get past building the emp generator
