Question Binding problem after installing patch.. solved

Untill today, I was adding or editing something in file etqwbinds.cfg every day. And I had no problems untill I installed the patch today. I wanted to add a bind for something.. I did it and entered a game.. Tried that key, and NOTHING. I closed the game and looked the file.. the command I added wasn`t there. I first thought I spelled it wrong or something.. Then I tried to change/erase one of my old bind commands in the file.. Entered a game, and nothing was different. Looked in the file after, all the same as the moment I installed the patch

Tried few more times to change/add/erase something from the file, but the moment I enter the game, etqwbinds.cfg becomes the same it was at the moment of patch intalation

Can anybody help me, pls??

This would be one of the reasons to create an autoexec.cfg and not edit etqwbinds.cfg.

What did you try to add to etqwbinds.cfg?

In what folder does the etqwbinds.cfg file you are trying to edit reside?

huh.. after few hours of trying, I figured it out five minutes after I posted it on the forum

before the patch game read bindings from:

My Documents\Enemy Territory Quake Wars Public Beta\base\etqwbinds.cfg

and now, it`s reading it from here:

My Documents\Enemy Territory Quake Wars Public Beta\sdnet\NICK\base\bindings.cfg

and the moment you enter the game it coppies this file to the first one great rofl

but, if you create an autoexec.cfg and put it into My Documents\Enemy Territory Quake Wars Public Beta\base\, this should override both
