NEW ET.TV Features and Additional Coverage!

We've just brought =GzR=D-i-c-e-R onto the ET.TV staff. D-i-c-e-R is the creator of the Game Stats Analyzer Pro (The Data Brain).

This utility is extremely useful for those of us who like to see the breakdown of frags, deaths, kills/deaths, etc. To make ET.TV even more of a one-stop shop, we've added that stats functionality to our own match listing. If you head to the Match History page, you'll see a new "Stats" button for each match. Clicking on that button will show you the stats for the specified match.

Also, as a bonus, I'm currently tweaking a few things and getting ready to make it possible for anyone to run D-i-c-e-R's tool and then copy/paste the info into a web form right here on ET.TV and get an HTML-ized output that you can save straight to your hard drive or upload to your own web server. That should be ready in a few days, so keep your eyes peeled!

Also, the ASDF 4v4 Cup FINALS are this Sunday, March 8 at 10pm EST and ET.TV will be there to shoutcast the action!

ET.TV Coverage: cb vs FI and hubris vs mL - STA Week 5

Our STA Week 5 coverage schedule has been sorted out, and here's the skinny:

Fresh off of a win against GzR, we're going to continue to follow crossbreed as they face off against FI on Wednesday night at 9:30 EST on Sewer.

On Thursday, we're heading back to the Sewer to cover hubris versus (the new) mainLine gaming at 10:30 EST.

Be sure to tune in both nights!

Intel's Daniel Pohl Quizzed About QUAKE Wars: Ray Traced

Pappy-R over at PlanetQuake managed to distract Intel's Daniel Pohl long enough to get him to answer a few questions about his latest and much-publicized project QUAKE Wars: Ray Traced, which, somewhat unsurprisingly, is a modified version of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars employing ray-tracing. What good is ray-tracing, you ask? Well, it basically allows for pixel-perfect shadows and reflection at the expense of a significant CPU power. To find out more about the project, how it was conceived, how it works, and what it all means for the future of gaming, check out the full interview with Daniel.

ET.TV's STA Week 3 Coverage VOD Pack

We have 3 new VODs available at EnemyTerritory.tv, showcasing our Stronger Than All Week 3 Coverage:

pak9Wildcardz vs WCK

Frag Inc. vs JerkyBoys

mainLine vs Team l1t

My plan for the future is to announce the VODs individually on the ET.TV site as they are made, but here on the community forums, I'm going to only post an announcement once the VODs for that week are complete. Even though I'm sure SD wouldn't mind, I'd like to not spam the heck out of their community front page with all of these updates. ;)

GGs to all the teams!

Weekly (Monthly?) Splash Damage Round-up

Haven't had one of these in a while, so I suppose this one's overdue. Here's a round-up of the latest happenings over at the eHome of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars PC developer Splash Damage. This one's slightly longer than usual, but don't let that put you off!
